How long does the battery last? The battery inside the ST425 is a sealed lead-acid (VRLA) pack with a three-to-five-year service life in normal conditions. Watch for shorter runtime under load, a failed self-test or the Replace Battery indicator.
Can I replace the battery myself? On the CP, OR and PR series the battery compartment is front-accessible and the swap takes under fifteen minutes with keyed connectors; written instructions ship with every set.
